DOLORES
Dolores es una ciudad uruguaya del departamento de
Soriano, y sede del municipio homónimo. Ubicada a orillas del río San Salvador
es un importante centro de acopio de granos. Fue fundada el 22 de setiembre de
1801 si bien siempre fue un lugar de circulación de tribus indígenas. Según el
censo de 2011 la ciudad contaba con una población de 17.174 hab.
